We are currenty seeking an experienced Project Manager to handle complex integrated implementations through to Go Live involving SAP and Third Party Vendor systems.
Major Duties and/or Deliverables:
-> Maintaining Project Plans and coordinating upcoming work activities
-> Identifying Issues/Risks and providing recommendations/action plans to resolve
-> Facilating meetings with client, vendors, IT and/or Operations
-> Coordinating/Monitoring various phases/activities of implementation process
-> Function as single point of contact for reporting project status.
-> Make recommendations for executive action when required.
-> Provide leadership to Project Team and others, both intra- and inter-departmentally.
-> Provide workload balancing, prioritization, dependencies and integration of multiple projects to ensure feasibility of schedule.
-> Oversee the development of each aspect of the program/project resolving the most difficult work problems. Solutions require resolution of complex operational and integration issues.
-> Provide detail and summary reporting of program status including progress and completion outlook.
-> Prepare briefing material and present overviews when required.
-> Ensure compliance with contractual agreements
-> Provide technical recommendations based on reviews of operational processes and procedures.
-> Coordinate any integration back with SAP relative to additional expertise and/or requirements for the implementation
-> Define processes and requirements relative to working with, managing, aging and loading solutions
Education & Professional Certifications:
-> Bachelor’s Degree in related technical discipline and four years relevant experience, or Master’s Degree in related technical discipline and minimum two years relevant experience, or minimum eight years relevant experience without college degree.
-> PMP certification desirable
Candidate Profile:
-> This resource needs to be highly experienced in both SAP and Third Party Vendor implementations.
-> Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills.
-> Advanced business knowledge and excellent project management skills.
-> Ability to work independently with little or no supervision on complex projects.
-> Detail and customer service oriented.
-> Proficiency with various software applications programs such as Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project is desirable.
-> Strategic and analytical thinking skills with the ability to solve problems and make decisions.
-> Ability to conduct in-depth research and present technical recommendations.
-> Proven ability to manage medium scale, collaborative, technical projects to closure.
-> Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
-> Experience in working in a multi-client and multi-vendor environment.
-> Ability to work in a group environment that achieves results through teamwork
