SAP Basis Administrator – Jacksonville

*****THIS POSITION IS FOR AN EMPLOYEE. CORP-TO-CORP OR CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. POSITION IS LOCATED IN JACKSONVILLE WITH RELOCATION ASSISTANCE PROVIDED.*****

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Designs, monitors and reports on security-related issues with an emphasis on maintaining the overall SAP security infrastructure.
Perform system refreshes across the R/3, Portal, BW, and Solution Manager landscapes.
Monitors the OS file system as it relates to SAP, makes recommendations for OS system administration.
Participates in performance testing for systems.
Reports SAP software bugs to SAP and works with them to resolve problems.
Analyzes and implements tasks for existing or proposed SAP systems; installs new SAP software and upgrades.
Support job scheduling, archiving, and outbound faxing solutions. Support SAP printing, fax and email architecture.
Performs defined tasks in a timely and high quality manner
Maintains the integrity and quality of production through operational procedures
Provides on-call support on a rotational basis
Capacity Planning: Monitor file systems space and database allocation verify efficient use of disk storage.
Systems Support: Ensure systems are maintained at the highest level of support plan, set procedures and provide reliable and secure system for business applications.
Work with DBAs to ensure that data recovery, maintenance, data integrity and space requirements for physical databases supporting applications are met.

Education & Professional Certifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in related technical discipline and six years relevant experience
Or
Master’s Degree in related technical discipline and four years relevant experience
Or
Eleven years relevant experience without college degree

Candidate Profile:
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or engineering
At least 7 years experience in systems development and/or applications support, including analysis, design, programming, product selection, support and/or maintenance are required.
3-6 years experience in an SAP Basis Administrator role with increasing levels of responsibility is required.

The person in this position must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with SAP HR modules, especially Payroll, would be a plus.
