Reports to the Sr Consultant II Architecture. Is responsible for defining and managing the standard offering definition and build of the HR BW Architect across all clients. In this role the Architect will have accountability for standards definition and application as well as managing the BW deployment staff for the HR BPO implementations using SAP BI.
Position Description:
?Responsible to deliver the BI work products such as: SAP data solutions, data mapping and design, data load procedures, conduct product reviews, work closely with the Business to ascertain requirements, creation of InfoCubes and Queries, etc.
?Define, plan and implement solutions on assigned moderately complex projects.
?Take business requirements and develop the total technical design on moderately complex projects.
?Apply thorough understanding of EAI, Database, Data Modeling in order to ensure proper usage of these methodologies as part of the design efforts in building a system to be put into production.
?Conduct appropriate test reviews for assigned projects and present to architecture review boards as necessary.
?Promote and follow the established processes, policies, standards and procedures to assure compliance with corporate and regulatory policies and standards.
?Provide technical direction to associate developers, developers and contractors.
Education & Professional Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field from a four-year college or university with ten or more years related experience
OR
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Candidate Requirements:
?This position is best suited for someone possessing SAP BI Reporting experience (preferable NW2004s SAP BI ).

?At least five years working experience in SAP BI (BW) development environment
?BI/BW Developers must have completed at least 3 BW projects with extensive experience in:
oDesigning and developing standard and custom BW solutions, including extractors, info providers, data providers (ODS), info sources, info objects, and info packages.
oExtracting data from SAP R/3, SAP SRM, and external systems.
oDevelopment of reports utilizing SAP Query Designer, Analyzer (BEx), Report Designer, and Web Application Designer.
oDesigning and implementing performance tuning methods using Aggregates, Compression, Roll-up, and Query Performance. Note: BIA a plus.
oTroubleshooting update routines and user exits utilizing SAP ABAP programming.
oAbility to interact with business users, gather requirements, develop designs, and document functional and technical specifications based on the requirement and the design.
oRequires superior troubleshooting skills, strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work independently in fast-paced, changing, time-sensitive environment.
oNW2004s Business Intelligence (BI. 7.0) knowledge is a plus.
?Must possess a solid understanding of all facets of SAP BI including data acquisition, transformation, loading, data modeling, query definition, web application designer, report designer and performance tuning
?Experience in requirements gathering and interpretation in a business intelligence environment
?Experience in data integration methods from heterogeneous data sources, including legacy databases, employing data transformation standards and best practices
?ABAP and JavaScript skills preferred
?Must be self-motivated, have a strong team orientation, learn quickly and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
?The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Composite Application Framework, experience in benchmarking, prototype development and complex BI/ BW solution delivery.
?Business process analytics background, familiarity in different BI/ BW product, and product support methodology.
?Detailed Techno-Functional knowledge in SAP BI/ BW environment & experience in customization within SAP best practices boundary in the latest version of SAP.
?Experience in and extraction of SAP and non SAP data.
?Transport management within different SAP systems
?Clear understanding in core SAP cross functional area (FICO, HR)
?Conceptual background in new dimension products (EBP, B2B, SCM, SEM and CRM etc.)
?Sufficient knowledge in reporting/analytics: BEX, Netweaver, Crystal, Business
