Responsible for the design, development and maintenance of the SAP Portal
This position will be responsible for the implementation, support, and growth of the portal environment as well as related IT support within the enterprise
Develop an overall Partner Portal design plan collaboratively with Functional Design Team
Develop and maintain the portal environment
Comply with established defined coding standards, integration strategies, and procedures to meet business requirements
Provide technical expertise within the portal environment
Ensure continuity of design and delivered look and feel between the portal and the requirements
Proactively monitor and resolve issues related to the Portal and its components during UAT process
Develop and maintain documentation in relation to the Portal, including change control and release management activities
Education & Professional Certifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in related technical discipline and six years relevant experience
OR
Master’s Degree in related technical discipline and four years relevant experience
OR
Eleven years relevant experience without college degree.
Candidate Profile:
The preferred candidate will have at least 8 years experience in application development and will have had SAP NetWeaver developer responsibilities for at least 2 engagements in a consulting environment, covering the following areas: SAP NetWeaver Portal design and development, SAP Portal Server related technologies, Understanding of Portal/Application Services processes, Analyze customer requirements and develop technical solutions
A minimum of 2 years experience in a consulting environment
A minimum of 2 years experience working in an SAP HR portal environment
A minimum of 3 years technical documentation experience – will be required to define and write Technical Detailed Design Specifications (TDDS) in support of the build solution
A minimum of 3 years experience in off-shore integration development model where by developer written TDDS is sent off-shore for development and back to core team for testing
Experience in implementing or supporting an SAP Enterprise Portal (version 6.0) environment
Hands-on development using KM, TREX, & Collaboration
Hands-on developed project deliverables - formal/structured methodology, Evaluation of key technical capabilities across vendors
Technical requirements definition & mapping, Leadership of testing & technology deployment
Strong interpersonal skills for communication with IT leadership and functional business teams
