SAP Portal Analyst – Jacksonville

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Architect and support the design, development and implementation of the SAP Portals environment including KM repository and taxonomies, iViews, Portal/KM Roles, Bex Reports, SAP Business Applications/transactions, etc. '
• Provide portal integration with other non SAP applications as required.
• Support the full development life cycle of portal development including documentation of functional specifications, technical specifications, coding, unit testing, thread testing, system integration testing, implementation.
• Utilize strategies, methods, processes, and tools for improving design, performance, security and information access to ensure the environment meets the needs of both the business unit and enterprise while allowing for growth and flexibility.
• Lead and participate on teams and projects to understand business needs, design and recommend solutions, and provide support and training on the evolving Portal/KM and reporting environment.
• Provide insight based on past experiences, offer suggestions and possible solutions to challenges and issues presented

Education & Professional Certifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in related technical discipline and six years relevant experience
OR
Master’s Degree in related technical discipline and four years relevant experience
OR
Eleven years relevant experience without college degree.

Candidate Profile:
Three or more years of experience in the following technologies is required:

o Web Application Server administration ie SAP Portal Netweaver, Web Logic
o Web Proxy ie Apache
o o Single Sign-on technology, Identity Management and Portal Security
o Java development Infrastructure
o HTML/HTTP
o Internet Transaction Server
o Experience in operating system administration Windows, Unix and Linux
o Working knowledge of SAP Portal development technologies including Web Dynpro, Knowledge Management, Collaboration and Portal Content Administration & Configuration
o Good understanding of Java, J2EE and Web Services development
o Middleware software such as Mercator, SAP XI

4+ years of SAP ECC or Basis administration experience
2+ years as a portal administrator
3+ years experience with SAP Enterprise Portal and the SAP NetWeaver stack
• Experience implementing and supporting a productive SAP environment utilizing SAP’s ASAP methodology
• Understanding of best practice methodologies that ensure solid design and scalable processes Experience with SAP’s EP module
• Full-life cycle project implementation experience utilizing SAP’s ASAP methodology
• Project management experience
• Excellent communication skills with partners, customers, vendors, and all levels of management and comfortable presentation and speaking skills
• EP Certification is a plus
