Description
We are currently seeking a Senior Release Analyst for our HR Management organization.
Responsibiliteis and Duties:
-> Development and the management of the release process for project and production support of an SAP implementation, but includes 3rd party non-SAP code as well.
-> Coordinate the construction, planning, communication, and execution of configuration changes and development releases of SAP and Non-SAP code changes from scope approval, testing, to release delivery to ensure that changes are safely migrated into production.
-> Own the deployment strategy and work with the customer, client(s) and Change Control Board (CCB) to prioritize and scope scheduled releases with completion dates for each phase.
-> Work with appropriate resource management to conduct capacity planning, test planning, communication planning, as well as provide 24 X 7 X 356 Production support.
-> Construction of releases (Release Notes), planning for their deployment, and execute the deployment itself.
-> Coordinate regular post-implementation reviews, and will be responsible for presenting release metrics in order to assist with the evaluation of release quality.
Education & Professional Certifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in related technical discipline
And Four years relevant experience
OR Master’s Degree in related technical discipline And Minimum two years relevant experience
OR Minimum eight years relevant experience without college degree.
Candidate Profile:
-> In-depth working knowledge of end to end Release Management / Problem Management / Change Management Cycles.
-> Experienced and highly skilled in client interfacing.
-> Excellent oral and written communication skills to prepare and communicate detailed technical product/business process and systems information to management, project team members, customers and vendors.
-> Ability to make decisions based on multiple criteria.
-> Ability to work in an unstructured and fast paced self-directed environment.
-> Skilled in using the appropriate subject matter experts to drive to issue and jeopardy resolution and sound decision-making in order to meet project success factors.
-> Proficiency with various software applications programs including Lotus Notes, Microsoft Word, Excel and Project.
-> Progressive responsibility and experience in analyzing, developing, implementing, monitoring and reporting on plans and programs for three or more products, business processes, and/or systems.
-> Strong decision-making skills for problem identification and solution recommendation and implementation.
-> Working on new client implementations in SAP enviromenet desirable
