Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the completed efforts and overall direction of the development team, Ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Initiates and assigns projects, system enhancements, and production support within the development team. Reviews the client needs against Convergys objectives, and balances client satisfaction with company directives. In consultations with the project leader(s), determines project requirements and ensures the team is focused on the set objectives. Attends user meetings and conducts on-site client meetings. Makes pricing recommendations based on market value and Convergys objectives. Maintains frequent interaction with Sales, Product Management, and Marketing to ensure successful completion of projects. Responsible for ensuring that development and research needs are met while allowing a profit margin or Convergys. Provides input to policy level directions regarding standards, budget constraints, etc. Responsible for revenue/expenses within the operating unit, and for meeting budget goals and objectives. Responsible for selecting, training, developing, and managing performance of direct reports in area of specialty; and mentoring, coordinating, planning, and providing direction for work group(s) in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable legal requirements.

Education & Professional Certifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in related technical discipline and four years relevant experience
or
Master’s Degree in related technical discipline and two years relevant experience
or
Eleven years relevant experience without college degree.

Candidate Profile:
Minimum of four years experience writing and executing test cases, based on requirements documentation provided by another resource or department required.
Experience managing testing implementation and resources required. Global implementation and recent management experience preferred.
Knowledge of HR processes, including Personnel Development, Org Management, Benefits, Payroll, Recruiting & Staffing, Self Service, and/or Personnel Administration.
Experience testing the HR modules of SAP or other ERP required.
Experience testing the integration of systems with SAP or other ERP required. Minimum of 3 years experience reviewing and providing feedback on QA testing documentation.
Knowledge of and experience creating and documenting industry best practices and standard processes.
Excellent analytical skills. Requirements documentation experience a plus.
Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external associates required.
Good team player.
Superior organizational skills.
Available to work long hours including nights and weekends.
4+ years experience managing large-scale ERP configuration and/or software development projects, with strong emphasis on management of the testing phase of the life cycle.
4+ years experience developing & maintaining staffing plans, developing & maintaining project plans, managing budgets, and coordinating project resources.
Excellent issue resolution and escalation management skills.
Leadership presence, comfortable in front of the client and executive leaders.
Ability to work with a diverse leadership team.
