Technical Writer
•The responsibilities of this position include analyzing systems, understanding business process and products, interviewing subject matter experts, and creating online documentation. This includes the analysis, deployment and use of automated tools to assist in the creation of documentation.
•Requires working closely with IT engineers, developers, managers, testers, and customers, to ensure that the delivered documentation meets all requirements and needs. Writes and updates technical documentation ensuring technical accuracy, clarity, readability and adherence to style standards. Supports and Assists other departments in learning and understanding new functionality through development of end user documentation and help systems. Translates business and product documentation to assist the quality control group with system and user testing.
•Job success will be judged on creating efficient processes that create quality documentation and adds value to the company by improving developer and operations productivity and reducing technical risk.
•Preference will be given to candidates who have already completed successful technical documentation efforts on general SAP, SAP HR, or other HR-specific system documentation management

Education & Professional Certifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in related technical discipline and six years relevant experience
OR
Master’s Degree in related technical discipline and four years relevant experience
OR
Eleven years relevant experience without college degree

Required Skills/Experience:
•Exceptional written and verbal skills.
•Outstanding editing and proofreading skills.
•Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
•Ability to manage time and multiple projects.
•Experience in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visual SourceSafe
•Ability to use software tools to assist with automating portions of the documentation.
•Ability to understand flowcharts, database and process diagrams.
•Understanding of database – data dictionaries
